I have a basic Brother Serger but haven't played around with it too much or learned about it yet. The only thing I have done is to serge the ends of my quilt labels for my quilts.

If you want to get together and play with the machine and teach me I could do that.

Okay, awesome. I get 3 weeks of PTO per year and I'm trying to figure out how to go to Italy for 2 weeks, Ireland for 2 weeks, and con for a weekend (plus see my mom for a weekend). Math!

For my best friend's 30th, he wants to go to Ireland. So July 2016 is the plan. We haven't planned anything more specific than "Ireland" but when we do, I'll let you know where we're going!

Let me know if you want my handy guide to Dublin. And we HAVE to meet up even if it's just for a cup of tea. I just hope it doesn't conflict with the London Star Wars Celebration!

Ooohhh, that looks fun. I sent it to my friend with a note "London is by Ireland, ya?" But, yes, definitely tea or something

Yeah, London is totally right next to Dublin. My last flights there were €76. Less than an hour's flight, I think. Totally doable as an addition to a trip. Also, you can consider flying in to London as your main cross Atlantic flights, which is sometimes cheaper and have Ireland as your "side trip."

I have a tendency to over help with things so I'm staying out of the planning as much as possible. For now. It'll be interesting...
