I love the colors you picked, especially the blue 2nd from the right! I know first hand that the colors don't show true in photos so I can only imagine they look even better in person.

When you release the individual blocks, will they have their (individual) fabric requirements? I'm planning to only use stash for mine (other than, maybe, the border/sashing), so it'll help me figure out if I have enough. ETA: Well... if I read to the end of your Materials PDF and it says that you will... so never mind In other news: I'm planning to only use stash for this! I'm really excited for this!

LOL. Yes, if you are only making a stand alone block, it will have the fabric requirements. I will never go below 1/4 yard though. So if it says 1/4 yard and you are making 2 you may not need 1/2 yard.

Posting the fabrics you choose is definitely encouraged! I should get the Kirby pattern posted soon for everyone in case you want a jump over American Thanksgiving.

I can't wait to see how your blocks turn out. That looks like some really cool and interesting fabric.

I am intrigued and interested. But I have no idea how to make a quilt.

Do you know how to use a rotary cutter and sewing machine?

I know how to use a machine, but what is a rotary cutter? academyofquilting.com/library/quilt-glossary/rotary-cutting-instructions/You will definitely need an understanding of how to use your rotary cutter before you start any squares of this quilt or any quilts. If you want to participate I would cut an inexpensive one and watch videos and practice rotary cutting. You can use it so make small squares you could sew together for a second quilt top!
