My site is gorramquilts.com. It's a Firefly reference. But I wanted to work on branding myself, for my patterns and my blog and all that fun stuff. So I asked (hired) a friend to create a gorram. I didn't know what I wanted, but I sent him a bunch of links saying "like this, but happy" "like this, but less goofy", etc, and he did a great job of figuring out what I wanted, and only 3 drafts later, here is my gorram!! He needs a name. I'm currently thinking Gregorio Gorram III or Benny T Gorram, but am open to suggestions (I just know he's a he). I haven't settled on the exact brown, but that's a spend an evening with a glass of wine going brown by brown to find the perfect one. For those of you who don't quilt, he's holding a rotary cutter which cuts fabric. Attachments:

I think he's adorable, and support the Gregorio Gorram III campaign.

Omg, yes! Defo need a plushie who can sit on your quilts or hide under them! OMG THAT WOULD BE SO CUTE! Each pattern, find the gorram. When I was with my ex, we had a button quail, which is the smallest variety of quail. We hand raised him so he completely tame. He liked being the quilt inspector. (Ex got him, but Kiwi is still happy and running around) Attachments:

If you wanted to go the route of just one plushie I know a few that may be able to make one for you on commission.

And see where I'm at on my stuffed animal ban. After giving away about 25 when I moved to Seattle, I put myself on a ban. Except for <insert various exceptions> ... I have a problem

I have that problem too. It wasn't helped by the fact that I worked in a teddy bear shop for 5 years. I've been pretty strong since leaving there, but I still haven't gotten rid of everybody.

I just have a toy chest. They all live in there and it's fine.

I only have one stuffed animal. My parents gave it to me when I was in the hospital when I was 17. He has lived on my bed since.

That was me at the fabric shop... I just had to give that fabric a good home. Especially for end of bolts where they would be cut up and forever separated so I had to save them by taking them home!
