Did anyone go out? Any good pictures? I had the flu and my husband didn't take any.

Sadly no pics, but I did manage to pick up a small bundle of comics. =3 I'm confused though, DC is basically doing a cyber zombie storyline with Terry McGuinness in the new 52 universe. >oO<

I wanted to go, though I'm not really into the comic scene. Sadly, my upstairs neighbors kept me up all night, so I wasn't really in the mood to get up early to meet some friends there. One of these days I wanna start getting into them, but not really much time right now.

They can definitely be fun! There's a lot of good comics out there outside of what you get from DC and Marvel, it all depends on what you're looking for. >^^<

Plus free comic book day is a perfect day to get started with the free comics. All of the stores also have fantastic deals for everything in their store including board and card games! My husband picked up all of the expansions for Pathfinders we still needed.

Alas. Perhaps next year, then. I have been delving into the DC Animated Universe, though, so there is that. My brother also is letting me borrow Scott Pilgrim. When I was a kid, the only comics I read was the Sonic the Hedgehog ones in the supermarket when my mom went shopping. Loved reading those while we were waiting.

Awesomesauce! /o/ I actually had a subscription to that Sonic The Hedgehod comic waaaaaaaaay back in the day. >^^<
Fables is pretty good, take all the fairy tales and put those characters in a modern setting. Pretty interesting.
